The retro filter and AI makeover are both free to use. The filter processes photos entirely on your device; hair, clothes and faces are unchanged. In AI mode, your photo is sent to OpenAI only after you verify your email, confirm photo permission and press the makeover button. The example band uses fictional, AI-generated people.

Covers and videos are made on your device. Choosing Save to device prepares an encrypted temporary copy of the finished JPEG to support direct downloads in social browsers. Its unguessable download address works for one hour; anyone who has that address can access the photo during that time. Expired copies are removed when the download service next receives a request. Native sharing sends the file straight to your device’s share menu without creating this copy. Choosing Share on Facebook uploads an encrypted copy of your finished cover and stores its band and album title to create a shareable page. Anyone with its link can view it for 30 days. Shared covers become unavailable after expiry; expired files are removed in batches on subsequent Facebook-sharing requests. You can remove your shared cover from its page in the browser used to share it, using a cookie kept for up to 30 days. Facebook may keep its own preview or copies already shared. Encrypted backup copies may remain under the hosting provider’s retention policy. The original upload is not included unless you choose the before-and-after Story. Keep your studio tab open until you have saved your photo. OpenAI’s processing and retention terms apply to AI uploads.

Choc’d Full saves email addresses you submit through the AI or sharing panels, whether verification succeeds, where the entry came from, and your marketing preference. Verification codes are sent through Resend. News and offers are selected by default and optional: untick the box to skip them. Signup is confirmed only after email verification with that option selected. Emails are not placed in shared links, photo files or public pages.

Each verified email gets one AI attempt for this campaign. Failed or interrupted AI attempts can count. AI makeovers are subject to availability. Email verification confirms access to an inbox, not a unique person. The retro filter, editing, downloads and sharing do not require an email.

For AI results we record limited campaign events, such as referred visits, exports, share handoffs and shop clicks, linked to the entry’s verified email. Photos, band names and album titles are not stored in those records. A share handoff does not confirm a published post; social apps do not provide us with recipients’ email addresses. Invite links open the studio without revealing your photo.
